VLCC - INDIA'S TRUE HEALTH AND FITNESS CLINIC


VLCC – INDIA

I am a VLCC flag-waver now. And Guys, Believe me, VLCC, has really ‘Come Up’, in its Products & Services.

How I got close to them, is thanks to my Fav Salon ‘SARLA’S SALON’. (I have written a review also on them). VLCC (Thane – Ram Maruthi Rd), happens to be in the next building & every week, when I go to Sarla’s for my Head Massage & Manicures, Pedicures, I wud be tempted to visit VLCC, seeing their ‘Fight Obesity’ promotional campaigns.

I suddenly realized that I had been ‘hogging’ too much & my weight was spoiling my cute figure (hehehe!!), so I just wanted to do something fast & get rid of all that extra fat. And I am absolutely not the type to ‘Exercise’ (Yeeps !!) Its too tough. Keeping Diets, well I wud surely have to do 1 thing atleast, to shed off all those extra kilos, I gather on my Tours & binging !

So finally I mustered up enough courage to walk into VLCC & take a peek at their services. Having experienced ‘Paisa Kaya, Kaya’, I was a bit hesitant, but then I thought, let me give it a ‘try’ !

At first, as I expected, it was the usual Blah Blah Marketing Lectures, & I was in no mood to listen, to the well-dressed staff. Then I read a poster which said, “Now Lose 5 Kgs for just Rs. 4999/-“. It was a monsoon offer going on, & I decided to take a little gamble. So I enrolled & swiped my credit card. I was allotted 5 sessions of ‘tummy tuck’. (I’m very particular about having a nice flat tummy !! hehe!!).

I was then taken to a room & measured from all angles by a huge fat lady assistant.(Female Assistants for Ladies, Male Assistants for Guys). Then I was taken to meet my Nutritionist. She explained all about Excess Weight & talked about Diets. I must add here, that VLCC Nutritionists / Doctors / Centre Managers  are ‘Real Good’ in convincing people & making them realize the importance of staying Fit & Healthy. Extremely Good PR Services from this Thane’s Team of VLCC.

I usually ‘cringe’ at the word ‘Diet’, but what she said made sense & I decided to do ‘Dieting’ in ‘My Own Way’, as her instructions were too tedious to follow! So I just suddenly stopped having Dinner. I stopped Sweets & Rice (very rarely though !) & I started having lots of fruits. And I began going for the Sessions. WOW !!, I must truly tell U guys, it’s a wonderful experience, this ‘Tummy Tuck’. (I used to earlier think, that ‘tummy tuck’ meant, ‘cutting your tummy & then tucking it back into shape’…..hehehehe!!). Actually this is what it was.

First, you take off ur clothes & get into the VLCC Robe, & go to the weighing machine & then to the ‘BMI’ (Body Mass Index calculator machine. After that, you are taken into the massage rooms & a nice fat lady masseur starts working on you. They do some Vibrator treatment & with the force they used, I felt I wud become flat as ‘paper’ after the session !! hehe!!

Then came the Oil Massage….Mmmmh, this was Blissful. U know, VLCC has their own Products for all their Treatments. For the massage, they have this ‘Anti-Cellulite’ Oil. It’s a marvelous oil, t actually burns ur fat when rubbed into ur fat areas. After the massage of 15 full minutes, they wrap you up with a hot Towel or a hot ‘pack’ & U can actually feel the sweat coming out.

The session is for 30 to 45 minutes. After which, you are again taken to the Weighing Scale, & lo behold !!, you have lost half kg on the spot !! Now this is really ‘Motivating’ to see, believe me !!. And to be really frank, I just love the way the staff, motivates U, encourages U & the guarantee they give is ‘True’.

I have still kept up with my resolution of ‘no dinner, just juice & no rice & sweets regime, & in just 3 weeks, (hold ur breath guys !!), I lost 3 kgs !! I still have another 2 sessions more to go & I’m so happy with the results.

I can now go back to my skin tight Jeans & T-shirts & it feels so good, when U feel ur body Lighter, Believe me !!

I also got attracted to their showcase of their ‘Own Developed’ Products & started using the ‘Anti-Dandruff’ , ‘Anti-Hairfall’ & ‘Acme Creams’ , & they ‘Truly Work’ !!

I have now become such a patriot of VLCC products, that I have bought the entire necessary skin & hair care products & when I go for a ‘Facial’, to my fav Salon, I insist that they use my stuff, instead of theirs.

NESTLE'S YUM YUM YUMMY KIT-KAT

Advertising has always been my Passion. I am Crazy about them !!!! and Always on the lookout for SMART ADS and Unique Ones which not only Catch the Eye but also CAPTURE UR HEART!!!!!!!
So, I wanted to share my Feelings with you about India’s Most Cutest AD – NESTLE KIT KAT. (See, actually Everything has a link to My Name………KIT KAT CATTIE !!!!!!!!!!So naturally Its gotta be Cute and Sweet !! hehehehe!!!!!!!!!)
Nestle has broken all barriers with this Ad of the Dancing Squirrels !!!! Believe me, I just don’t get tired of watching this Ad even more than a million times. Its Worth Every Watch !!
Creativity and Art are The Passions in my life  and designing Ads is my Hobby and my little business also. I’m going to make a List of the Worthwhile Watching Ads and put it up in my next Diary. But here, just let me tell you about this Wonderful Chocolate KIT KAT and its Super Duper Hit Ad – TAKE A  KIT KAT BREAK.  I think if there is any competition to Cadbury’s today its Only KIT KAT !!

Nestlé Kit Kat was launched in India in 1995 and was well received by consumers owing to both the 'finger format' of the chocolate as well as the way its advertising celebrated the 'consumption ritual'. "Through different creative renditions, the brand has always propagated the 'BREAK IN ROUTINE' communication. The new Ad Concept has really come out very well, based on the concept of animals emoting human emotions, particularly love.
The TVC that has hit the screens few days back has already garnered a huge fan base of over 40,000 viewers on the You-tube. Basking on this, the company has even introduced various different format portions of the chocolate in 1-2-3 4Finger at convenient price points of Rs.5 and Rs.10 respectively.
The creative duties for the brand are with JWT, Delhi. The copywriter of the TVC is Anuja Chauhan, executive creative director and vice-president, JWT Delhi. The film is directed by Shyam Madiraju; the production house is Gobsmack Films and the post-production house is Radium, LA.
The Advertisement, urges Youngsters to celebrate the Present and notice the fun events in their surroundings. The 'Have a break, have a Kit Kat' tagline got a 'desi' twist a few years ago, when the brand rolled out its 'Kit Kat break toh banta hai' communication. The new TVC is also a creative leap and brings in a fresh, emotional approach that focuses not on the brand, but the benefit.” Further the brand philosophy is “To take a break from daily chores by consuming the product, NestlĂ©’s Kit Kat”. The brand has targeted the youngsters who are constantly swamped with technology, gadgets and busy schedules. "The effort is to position the products as something that can be consumed to take a break from work as one may miss out on fun and cool things that are happening around one.
And it all the more becomes a double whammy when it has a spunky Bollywood number (Kaante Nahin Kat from Mr. India) as its jingle in the background. Animation is just a tool; it's the story that is outlandish and singing squirrels is a good 'first time ever' for any brand. It makes the brand youthful and impulsive,". While it has used computer graphics in the past, this is the first time that Kit Kat has used animated characters that are central to the storyline in an Indian advertisement.

The TVC begins with a visual of two young men sitting in a park. One of them is involved in his work, completely engrossed in his laptop and headphones, whereas the other pops opens a Kit Kat. It all happens when this guy decides to eat the Kit Kat Chocolate… I mean when he tries to Break the Kit Kat Chocolate.. At that time, he sees a Male Squirrel finding its food ( fruit or something) and tries to eat without giving to girl friend squirrel.. The Girl friend squirrel gets angry with Boy Squirrels attitude.. To console her, the Boy Squirrel sings the Hit Bollywood song ” KAATE NAHI KATATE YE DIN YE RAAT KAHANI THI TUMASE JO DIL KI BAAT, LO AAJ MAI KAHATAA HOON I LOVE YOU………I LOVE YOU………..I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!

The animation is very good, the 45 second ad features a love struck male squirrel (Salman Khan style) serenading a female squirrel, as she spurns his advances. Undeterred, the squirrel sings and dances on a Hindi Film song, with signature Bollywood pelvic thrusts, till he finally wins over his Juliet.
He is shocked to see how the male squirrel is wooing the female by singing Bollywood songs and performing some pretty raunchy dance moves.

The boy in the Ad is Equally a Cutey Chocolate Guy !! You see his face clearly, ‘Stunned’ watching the squirrel’s Love Dance and the Cute way that he lifts his left Eye-Brow up is something you should not miss out on Gals !!! (And Cattie’s in Love with him and searching for his name desparately to write in a Fan Letter)

Truly, Nestle has by developed this hilarious commercial,  turned two little squirrels into Bollywood stars.
The film ends with a VO that states 'MANA KI LIFE BAHUT BUSY HAI, PAR KABHI KAHI BREAK LO, KIT KAT KHAO, ZINDAGI AAPKO SHAYAD KUCH HASEEN DIKHADE'.

Overall, a well executed TVC, superb use of graphics and a right product placement. Thus the message from the chocolate brand is loud and clear- Looking for a break, go for Kitkat! And can’t you hear the Squirrels sing?!
Remember, little breaks can make one's routine bearable, inject freshness into a life that's wrapped in gadgets and is full of chores.

LAKME NEW GYPSY (TIPSY) COLLECTION

Beauty and Make-Up……A Word that remains Eternal to all Women across the globe!!

One of India’s most foremost Beauty and Make-Up Brands has been Lakme. It’s a Household Name today and also hosts the most prestigious fashion shows in the country. Even their Beauty Parlors are highly revered.

Today there are so many new Brand Names in the market and many International Brands have almost swallowed up our Indian Brands……But somehow, Lakme continues to woo the Indian Woman.

I am a great Fan cum Consumer of Lakme. I basically buy my Lipsticks, Eye Liners and Eye Shadows from Lakme only.

Recently I went to one of the City’s Huge Malls and was delighted to see the new range of Lakme Products, launched as ‘LAKME GYPSY COLLECTION’. The very word Gypsy promises the user something new and colorful and carefree. Since I am crazy about Eye Shadows and Eye Liners, I stopped to look at their new Gypsy Eye Shadow Palettes. And WOW !!! Was Cattie delighted !!!! It was something different from the usual Blue’s and Greens’. I got glued to their counter and the girls were having a great time, experimenting different shades on me.

Honestly girls !!, we really must try our Best to avoid the temptation of these Make-Up Stall hostesses at Malls. Firstly they are so well-dressed and their faces are perfectly made-up, as if they have just stepped out of the Salons. And their Sales-talk ! You just can’t Resist their sweet compulsion to buy the product……Especially if they tell you, “Cattie U look Simply Beautiful !!!!”. Do U think any Cattie or Fattie would not fall for that ??

Yes, Of Course I did purchase the new Eye Pad called ‘Lakme Eye Quartet’. A palette of complementing Vivid, high intensity powders put together to color, shape and highlight your eyes in an explosion of Radiant Color. They actually create magic with your eyes!! Costing Rs. 425/- ONLY !!!!.

Next the salesgirls made me try the new Lakme Gypsy Blush. I normally never use Blush, as I well.. sort of have My Own Unique Cattie Blush on my cheeks !! (hehehe!!). But for those of you who do use Blushers, you just have to try this one out. The palette itself is a beauty to look at. Three beautiful earthy colors, suited for Indian skin. The silky smooth formula, enable you to apply it effortlessly in a uniform application. And Lo Behold…You just got your most Beautiful Radiant Glow !!!! Costing Rs. 600/- ONLY !!!!.

Next they tempted me with the new Lakme BLACK SATIN KAJAL. A Jet black Kajal for the blackest black delivery in just one stroke. Water resistant formula that keeps color and shine in place without spreading. So girls, however Big or Small your eyes look, just apply a line of this Kajal and just look at your man and see him get Mesmerised in your Eyes. Wish Mr. Handsome was somewhere around, so that I could atleast mesmerize him with my Lovely Cattie Eyes, all done up with the New Lakme Gypsy Collection !!!!

The next Attraction was the new Lakme ENRICH SATIN LIP COLOR…..Satin !!!! Oooh la la !!!!. This richly pigmented lip color feels like you have draped your lips with Luxurious Satin. It has a sunscreen plus vitamins and olive extracts, that leave you with the softest, smoothest lips ever! Girls get ready to Indulge in chilli reds, terra cottas, exotic sangrias and earthy rusts. And Guys get ready to be kissed by Satin Lips of your Girl-Friends and Wives.  Available in 10 shades, the cost is ONLY Rs 225/- per Lip-Stick.

Then they showed me the new Lakme Gypsy Lip Palette. Well Honestly, I cannot quite get used to these Lip Liners and Lip Fillers cosmetic. So I did not try it on, but I did take a deep peep into the product. There were five flattering shades of terra cotta, costing Rs. 600/- ONLY.

Since I did not try out the Lip Liners and Fillers, the girls quickly drew my attention to the new Lakme SHEER SATIN LIP GLOSS. Now that is Sensible to use, I must say !! They make your lips molten shine, and there’s absolutely no stickiness like the other Gloss varieties available. So Imagine Lovely Luscious Lips with an Ultra-Comfortable, Satin Finish. Available in 8 shades and costing Rs. 325/- ONLY !!

Lastly was that Nail Polish !!!! Ah !!!!! What Else would a Cat want, than have her Claws Beautifully Painted with the new Lakme TRUE WEAR NAIL COLOR !! Superb Rustic deep rich colors, with a hint of shimmer. I went for the Plush Purples, my Fav Claws Color !!. Available in 8 shades for JUST Rs. 90/-…….
